Assistance you need.
If you are a victim of domestic violence, a legal advocate may be able to assist you with a number of issues. Legal advocates keep busy with a number of tasks, including, but not limited to: reviewing domestic violence police reports, contacting survivors by phone to offer services and assistance, assisting with completion of all Orders of Protection, domestic violence education, empowering survivors to get out of violent relationships and giving them the tools to do so.
Legal advocates also work alongside attorneys, judges and law enforcement to help bring greater understanding about what barriers clients may be facing and advocate for the strongest and safest possible resolutions.
Advocates assist with Orders of Protection in St. Clair, Randolph, and Monroe counties.
